Privacy policy

Pharos Immigration & Visa Services ("Pharos", "we", "us") is an affiliate of Touchdown Canada Immigration. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Who is responsible for your information

Pharos provides client support and refers enquiries to Touchdown Canada Immigration. There they are reviewed by Nabid Kabir, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC #R516202), licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). When you submit an enquiry, your details are shared with Touchdown Canada Immigration for this purpose. You can verify the licence on the CICC public register. What we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address and country of residence.
• Information about your background that you choose to share for an assessment, such as age, education, work experience, language test results and family situation.
• If you become a client, the documents and information needed to prepare your immigration application.
• Basic technical data your browser sends when you visit our website, such as pages viewed and device type. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, and Vercel Analytics, which does not, to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and assess which immigration programs may suit you.
• To prepare, submit and follow up on applications on your behalf, if you retain us.
• To meet our professional, regulatory and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

How your enquiry is delivered

When you submit a form on this website, your details are sent to our team by email, through a form-delivery service, and a WhatsApp message containing your enquiry is opened on your device for you to send. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and has its own privacy policy. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, simply close that window. Your email enquiry will still reach us.

Sharing

We share your information only when needed to provide our services. For example, we share it with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Employment and Social Development Canada, provincial nominee programs or designated organizations, and only with your authorization. We may also disclose information when required by law or by our regulator.

Storage and security

We use reasonable physical, organisational and technical safeguards to protect your information. Client files are kept for as long as our professional and regulatory obligations require, and are then disposed of securely.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to further contact at any time.
