Overview
Express Entry is the online system IRCC uses to manage three economic programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. You create a profile, receive a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, and wait in the pool for an Invitation to Apply. Draws happen regularly, including category-based draws for in-demand occupations and French speakers.
Who it's for
- Skilled professionals with at least one year of paid work experience
- Graduates and workers already in Canada on a work permit
- Qualified tradespeople with a job offer or certificate of qualification
- Applicants with strong English or French test results
How we help
- We calculate your CRS score honestly and show you where extra points can realistically come from: language retests, a spouse's credentials, a provincial nomination or more Canadian experience.
- We check your work history against the right NOC code and duties, which is where many profiles go wrong.
- After an invitation you have 60 days to submit a complete application. We prepare the document checklist, reference letters and proof of funds in advance so that window is not a scramble.
Program rules, fees and processing times are set by the Government of Canada and change often. Check the official IRCC information page, or ask us for advice on your situation.
