Overview
IEC gives young people from countries that have an agreement with Canada the chance to work and travel here. It has three categories: Working Holiday (open work permit), Young Professionals (employer-specific) and International Co-op (internships). Age limits and quotas depend on your citizenship. Indian citizens are not currently eligible for IEC.
Who it's for
- Young citizens of participating countries, usually aged 18 to 30 or 35
- Graduates seeking professional experience in Canada
- Students who need a co-op placement
How we help
- We check eligibility for your country and category, and help you time your profile for the next rounds.
- We prepare the work permit application once you are invited.
Program rules, fees and processing times are set by the Government of Canada and change often. Check the official IRCC information page, or ask us for advice on your situation.
